Showing Who's Boss
The new HUGO BOSS Spring/Summer 2015 collections were launched in Johannesburg in early April, with some guests discovering the new season’s looks at the brand’s stores in Sandton City, followed by a celebration at Circa Art Gallery in Rosebank.
The event, managed by C.S.A., epitomized both the brand’s distinctive elegance and its understated luxury. The event was attended by notable personalities like Maps Maponyane, DJ Euphonik, DJ Milkshake, Tamara Dey, Da L.E.S., Celeste Khumalo, A.K.A and Nicole Flint.
At the after-party, guests arrived in style - courtesy of a limousine service provided by partner Mercedes Benz - and then enjoyed a stylish, standing dinner to the beats of DJ Euphonik within the gallery’s aesthetic of singular simplicity.
About the collections
BOSS Menswear for Spring/Summer 2015 epitomizes authentic, understated luxury with its latest collection built around an aspirational archetype that mingles with the industry’s downtown cool. From half-lined coats to tumbled slim-fit jackets: the clothes find a balance between tailored and casual.
BOSS Womenswear, meanwhile, stands for feminine styles with a focus on excellent workmanship, fine fabrics and distinctive details.
In his second collection for BOSS, Artistic Director Jason Wu continues to define and delineate the codes and aesthetic identity of the BOSS woman: strong, focused, exacting, yet always feminine and the epitome of timeless elegance. The men’s suiting and shirting that form the backbone of BOSS is the unexpected starting point for a womenswear collection that explores lightness and fluidity.
The HUGO BOSS Group is one of the leading companies in the premium and luxury segment of the apparel market and its products are sold in 130 countries around the world, with stores in South Africa located in Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban.
