Despite the absence of headlining superstar, Solange, Afropunk Johannesburg didn’t fail as a celebration of unity, inclusivity, music, and, of course, style.

After a decade of incredible shows the Brooklyn-based festival made its first appearance in South Africa over the 30th and 31st of December. The line-up featured the likes of Anderson Paak and Laura Mvula, who moved the crowds from the stage while the street style brought an entirely new dimension that showcased why Afropunk is a cut above the rest.
