NONAME Wows crowds in Cape Town

Boiler Room in association with Budweiser brought Chicago born poet and hip-hop artist, Noname to Cape Town for one night only for an exhilarating performance. The “Telefone” songstress headlined the globally streamed event which was supported by  Johannesburg’s own Sean Munnick and Cape Town locals Uncool Luke and Flōyu. The whole event went down at Cape Town’s Coco nightclub – an intimate affair that left those stranded in line green with envy. Coming just one night after DJ Lag had his own Boiler Room showcase in London, this proved a huge week for South African music. If you weren’t able to attend the Cape Town leg, check out the full stream beloW.

New Black Panther Trailer

Following a flurry of new trailer drops last week, the folks over at Marvel Studios dropped their very own trailer for one of the most hotly anticipated films of next year: Black Panther. In the first official trailer, we get a better look at king by day, superhero by night T’Challa/The Black Panther, played by Chadwick Boseman. The latest trailer also reveals the Black Panther battling the film’s antagonist – a feline-themed villain, perhaps the Charcoal Jaguar, for control of the fictional nation of Wakanda. The world created for the movie is expansive and many details are still to be revealed about the plot and characters, but if Monday’s trailer is anything to go by Black Panther is going to be an end to end action adventure for the ages. Black Panther releases February 9th.

The Kardashian West’s tease unreleased sneakers
The most influential couple on Earth just bumped up their clout with a series of (to them) casual public outings that has ignited the curiosity of sneakerheads the world over. Starting with Mr West, the mogul was seen wearing a pair of as yet unnamed, unreleased hightops that feature florescent yellow-coloured laces and suede panelling. The colour scheme is also similar to the Adidas Wave Runner.
Kim continued to make a splash when she was spotted wearing a pair of low top sneakers, again reminiscent of the Wave Runner, but in an all-white colourway. Still no word on a release date, but these mouthwatering designs are right up our alley. Tell us what you think about the next generation of YEEZY’s in the comments.
