The instant best-seller, published by BlackBird Books, follows a series of achievements for Brand Bonang, including the unveiling of Queen B’s Bmoji’s, a signature cocktail Fleur de Courvoisier by Bonang, which was served during the launch, and the take-off of Being Bonang, her VUZU AMP hit reality television show.

As a South African success story, From A to B is an earnest account of Bonang’s world, seen through an intimate lens like never before. It will have you cheering and laughing in parts, but mostly it will leave you feeling inspired to find, hone and invest in your own sparkle.

On launching her book Queen B said, “I am most proud of this book because I believe it will tell a story that most people who engage with it will be able to relate to. We are all human and have great stories to tell about the journey we have walked through life. I think my book, From A to B, is a story of truth, triumphant and resilience which also speaks to my hard work ethic and persistence where achieving my dreams is concerned”.

The launch event, hosted in partnership with Sandton City, Zebra Square, Courvoisier and BlackBird Books, saw over 250 guests in attendance.

Some of South Africa’s topmost social, entertainment and business personalities showed their support, including Bonang’s most respected muse Basetsana Kumalo, and her close friend and designer Gert Johann Coetzee. Other notable guests in attendance were Pearl Modiade, Terry Pheto, Zuraida Jardine, Shashi Naidoo and Johanna Mukoki to name a few.

Following a heartfelt reflection on her journey from A to B – from children’s TV presenter to featuring in international campaigns, with eNCA broadcaster Ayanda-Allie Paine, Bonang thanked her loyal supporters saying “I am grateful to everyone who has been able to contribute to this narrative particularly the love and support I have received from my friends and family. I am nothing without you.”

Exclusive Books Sandton City was on board selling copies of the book, which were signed by Bonang as she engaged with her guests.

Courvoisier presented Bonang with flowers and a bespoke bottle of XO cognac, congratulating her by saying,“We are excited to share in the achievements of such an outstanding individual. Throughout, Bonang has evoked the aspiration to be glamorous through her unique combination of timeless elegance and modern sophistication. Bonang epitomises the heart of the brand, here’s to celebrating successful moments!”

In addition to Bonang’s new book, fans can also look forward to a new mobile app, expected to be made available for download towards the end of the year.
