Bonang Matheba cuts a powerful figure as GQ magazine’s September cover star. Dressed in all black, Bonang – a brand unto herself – adorns the cover accompanied by no headlines making her the sole focus and creating a powerful statement. With this cover, Bonang becomes the first women in eight years to make a solo cover on the magazine.
Bonang celebrated the milestone with a private lunch and cover unveiling at Johannesburg’s Four Seasons hotel. Guests were treated to a three-course meal served alongside her signature Courvoisier cocktail, Fleur De Courvoisier.
Inside the magazine, Bonang will be featured alongside other powerhouse personalities, Roger Federer, Diddy and more iconic names from fashion, entertainment and sport.
The September Issue goes on newsstands on Monday the 27th of August.
