The people were in a buzz over the launch of a limited edition t-shirt collection, Bonang by Bonang Matheba, which dropped on exclusively on Spree, bringing Queen B’s famous catch-phrases to a range of pure white tees.

Made famous on Being Bonang, the “Bonangisms”- ‘Mo’ghel’, ‘Give The People What They Want’, ‘#IAmBonang’ as well as a graphic print from pan-African clothing line, Play Apparel – are all in the limited collection’s designs.

“The collection means a lot to me and embodies all that which I want my fans to feel: a sense of community; a celebration of their own achievements and; aspiration to be the best version of oneself,” says Bonang about the collaboration with Spree.

Set to slay, the tees not only make a conscious statement but can also be worn styled up or down depending on personalised clothing and accessories. But most importantly, says Bonang, “they should be worn in the way only you know how – by being true to yourself.”

Chris Viljoen, Creative Director for Spree comments: “We’re thrilled about the partnership with Bonang as she embodies much of what we as a fashion company believe in. Spree stands for innovation, trends, fashion and self-belief, all of which speaks to Bonang’s vision, both for herself and the collection.”
