For the second time in two years, pro skateboarder and Olympic hopeful, Jean-marc Johannes, becomes a Guinness world Record holder. With 18 nollie heelflips successfully completed in 50 seconds, Jean-marc has bested his own previous record of 14.

The record is just the latest in a long line of accomplishments that has put Jean-marc at the forefront of action sports in South Africa. He has previously walked away with a gold and silver medals from consecutive FISE World Series competitions, both times being the only African competitor to represent their country at the illustrious competition.

With 2020 just one year away, Jean-marc will continue to perfect his talent with the hopes of gaining a coveted spot on South Africa’s Olympic team, where skateboarding will make its debut.
