Heavy K has announced the release of his new single Let them talk, featuring the talented lyricist – and wife Ntombi, as well as celebrated Nigerian Afro-House singer and All Africa Music Award-winning songwriter Niniola.
As the first track featuring Heavy K’s talented wife, the artist commented that the inspiration behind the song lies in sharing communal issues together, with the woman that he loves.
“Let them talk is for all the people going through a stage – be it heartbreak, body shaming, whatever it may be. It’s dedicated to anyone who has felt the outside pressures of other people’s opinions, and the way that makes one feel. We all have hard times and feel the consequences of people not appreciating who you are. Let them talk because this song is about ignoring those voices and chasing your own dreams regardless,” says Heavy K.
In addition, fans can also look forward to a music video for Let them talk later this month.
