Breathy, beautiful vocals with a soulful bent, is what singer Manu Grace brings to the table and is one of the happy accidents that can occur at the hands of a social media addiction. In between the automatic swipes and often undeserved likes, sometime  social media can be a tool for genuine discovery. Her June EP is the perfect example of soothing,  unencumbered music making – the right companion for a sunny Sunday afternoon or the perfect remedy for a melancholy day in between. Coming out the gates of the KuduKudu stable (the Cape Town label responsible for praiseworthy acts Albany Lore, Hyroine, Grassy Spark and  a host of others), Manu Grace is a a welcome additional to South Africa’s alt-pop canon. Take a listen.
