South African Lumiere, Bonang Matheba, David Tlale and Anatii, will jet off to New York City on Thursday, 06th September, for a trip which will include their attendance at New York Fashion Week.Apart from four nights of celebration, culture, luxury and experiencing the best of the city’s fabled nightlife, in a bold move, David Tlale will also present a unique, street runway show to reveal his new Spring/Summer collection.

“I am excited to #WalkNewYork the David Tlale way, bringing high-end-fashion, drama and lifestyle to the streets of New York and the iconic spaces. It would not be a proper take-over without Courvoisier!“, says David.

During their trip, the three Lumiere – or the enlightened ones – will also be joined by one of New York’s most recognized socialites and entrepreneurs, Livelle Collins, who will take them into the heart of the city to reveal its soul.

“Having experienced the history and origin of Courvoisier in Paris and Jarnac last year, I can’t wait to write the next chapter of Courvoisier in one of the world’s most iconic destination cities. I feel blessed and look forward to creating many more exciting moments with David and Anatii”, says Bonang.
With a scheduled helicopter flip around Manhattan, trips to the Museum of Modern Art, accompanied by the New York City Art Collective, and explorations around some of Livelle’s favourite haunts, the Lumiere can look forward to every facet of what makes the city a global icon.

“I’m super excited for NY. It’s gonna be a lituation filled with #Courvoisiermoments” adds Anatii.
Artist-producer, Anatii, joined Bonang and David who have been part of the Courvoisier Lumiere family for two years now, earlier this year.

Says Managing Director of ABV, Daniel Hawkins: “With Bonang, David and Anatii as part of the Courvoisier family, we have three individuals who embody the spirit of style, glamour and dedication to craft with a flair for bridging the classic and contemporary. As the global influence of Africa cannot be overstated, we are proud to be hosting some of the most influential figures on the continent.”

Fans, meanwhile, can stay tuned to each of the Lumiere’s social channels as well as Courvoisier’s own platforms for updates during the trip.
