Kanye West’s latest collection, Yeezy Season 6, is available now exclusively on Yeezy Supply. With no press, no pre-hype, and no over the top runway shows, the latest iteration of his much-coveted collaboration with Adidas is available for pre-order.
The collection includes the latest Yeezy Sneaker – The Yeezy 500, also known as the Desert Rat. The shoe is available in a “Super Moon” colour way (light yellow to you and me) and features a combination of mesh and suede upper with a sole lifted from the Adidas KB8 3’s, to create a decidedly retro feel.
While some sneakerheads may rejoice in the news of the release of the shoe, which had until now only been seen on Kim and Kanye, there is one troublesome caveat: the sneakers are only available as part of a $760 bundle – a savvy business move, but a thorn in the side of anyone not interested in the Yeezy season 6 hoodie ($320) or sweatshorts ($240).
Even if you can get over the asking price the shoes are limited to 500 pairs and will only ship on March 1st.
