Marvel’s first Trailer for Black Panther

The latest film in Marvel’s Cinematic Universe (MCU), Black Panther just released its first trailer. The trailer was unveiled during the NBA Finals and the internet can’t contain itself. In addition to the 89 Million views it racked up in its first 24 hours, the internet is already awash with news and memes surrounding the film. The film, which releases in February next year, features glimpses of the fictional African country of Wakanda in all its futuristic glory. Starring Chadwick Boseman as the titular character as well as South Africa’s own John Kani, this action adventure is definitely going to be on our radar next year.

 

 

Microsoft unveils new console, One X

The console wars continue! In a media presentation at the Electronics and Entertainment Expo (E3), Los Angeles, Microsoft unveiled the latest iteration of their Xbox home console: The Xbox One X. The name might be a chore – rolling off the tongue quite clumsily, but when it comes to performance the company has not minced words. Microsoft calls the One X “The world’s most powerful console.” Fans and critics alike have been anxiously awaiting news of the console ahead of its unveiling earlier this week. Originally code-named Project Scorpio One X is capable of playing games in full 4k resolution – something competitor Sony is unable to do. It’s still early days, but the future of gaming is clearly an exciting place

 

 

Quantum computing may or may not be here

The principals of quantum computing are difficult to explain, but there is no challenge too great for the minds at CSA Global. With that being said we won’t bore you with details of qubits and binary bits. Instead, we want you to know what this means for you. In short, quantum computing means way faster processing for computers allowing them to solve problems far beyond today’s technology. With applications in financial services to Angry Birds, the next evolution in computing is about to change the world.

 

 

XXL Magazine drops the 2017 “Freshman Issue”

Every year American Hip Hop authority, XXL Magazine unveils its list of the next wave of MC’s you should keep an ear out for. The issue features artists like XXXTentacion, Playboi Carti, Ugly God, and Kyle (yes, just Kyle), to name a few. Some would be forgiven for not knowing who or what we’re talking about, and that’s to be expected.  Many members of the 10 person list are predominantly “internet famous” – garnering a large part of their following through online portals like Soundcloud and WordStar.  Whatever your familiarity with the names on this list it represents the hottest names in rap over the last 12 months, so get involved and bring up your displeasure with the state of rap at a party near you.

Wes Anderson is perhaps the most visually recognisable director on planet earth. His world is filled unyielding symmetry and painted with beautiful pastels that make every frame a Facebook cover photo. So, imagine our delight when we stumbled upon Accidental Wes Anderson, a SubReddit dedicated to real life images that seem to be plucked straight of the films of the legendary auteur. What makes the SubReddit such a gem is that not only do the pictures look like a Wes Anderson fantasy, but their functions are equally as whimsical. From a chocolate factory to an undersea lodge we’re happy to make this our new online obsession.
