The WIRE was at the dinner party of the year: The “LETS DO DINNER” by Stella Artois. “If you could have dinner with anyone, who would it be?” was the central theme of the event.

Nomzamo Mbatha and Kat Sinivasan (Pictured above) orchestrated a captivating evening in Johannesburg as they hosted Stella Artois’ “Let’s Do Dinner,” South Africa’s most fascinating event. A stellar guest list, including luminaries like Zozibini Tunzi, Lloyiso, Lasizwe, Mihlali Ndamase, Da Les, and more, gathered to celebrate the power of human connection around the table.

The “Stylishly Stella” dress code invited an air of sophistication and sauve to the night, complemented by atmospheric performances by The Muse, ballerina Kitty Phetla, and DJ Kenzhero & Trio.

Renowned chef Reuben Riffel curated a culinary masterpiece. Cuisine presented as an immersive sensory experience featured delights like ash-crusted braised beef brisket and a show-stopping chocolate crème Brule.

The evening unfolded with animated conversation punctuated by laughter music at many a table, magic, and culinary excellence, leaving guests enchanted and inspired, very much in the spirit of Renaissance styled salon gatherings.

This Johannesburg affair followed a similarly star-studded Let’s Do Dinner event in New York City hosted by Ludacris & Zoe Saldana, and proved South Africa confidently goes head-to-head with any international destination in the society meets culinary stakes.
