A new division dedicated to sports talent representation and strategic brand marketing – C.S.A. Sports – has been launched by leading talent/communications company, Celebrity Services Africa (C.S.A.).
The sports marketing division will be headed by Managing Director, Glen Tomlinson, who has over two decades in the fields of advertising, sponsorships, social media and media. He has notably created numerous, iconic sports campaigns and innovative sponsorship strategies for brands over the years. Previous positions held by Tomlinson include management of Saatchi & Saatchi Synergize’s Johannesburg office as well as the development in Africa for global digital consultancy, Nurun, a Publicis Groupe company.
The company has already signed some of SA’s top stars, including championship-winning Mamelodi Sundowns players George Lebese and Percy Tau, and skateboarding champ Jean-marc Johannes, amongst others, while it also recently concluded a brand ambassadorship deal for Super Eagles football legend Jay Jay Okocha with Nigerian sports betting platform BetKing.
C.S.A. Sports services will include talent representation, brand endorsements, the creation of strategic sports-positioned brand campaigns, sponsorships and a full suite of marketing communications (PR and social media) as well as property & content development and events production & marketing.
