Multi-medal winning action sports athlete, Jean-marc Johannes added another accolade to his list of achievements when he received the “Chairman’s Award” from the Cape Town Sports Council on July 25 at the University of the Western Cape.
The annual event honoured athletes and their achievements within all sporting codes that fall under the Western Cape Department of cultural affairs. As South Africa’s most decorated skateboarder, Jean-marc was specially selected to join a roster of high achieving athletes from across the sporting spectrum.
Jean-marc has had an impressive run up to the awards, collecting medals across the globe, -including a gold, a silver and a bronze at tournaments across Asia and in France – along with his position as a current Guinness world record holder.
